St Andrew’s Patronal Lunch 1st December 2024

Two weeks today we shall hold our St Andrew’s Patronal Lunch.

On the last day of November it is Saint Andrew’s Day, so the next day after our morning service we shall join together in Haga Församling to eat together and hopefully raise some funds for our St Andrew’s fundraiser. 

We shall have a raffle and some things to buy. We have Christmas cakes, preserves of jams and marmalade. Kendi Vocals will come along and sing.

It is a bargain price of 150 kr for a three course meal. (75kronor for children over 8 with a maximum of 400kr per family.)  There will be hot soups to start with bread, a buffet with salmon, chicken and lots of vegetable and salad dishes followed by sweet puddings, cakes and tea/coffee.

Kulturnatta (Culture Night)

“O Shepherd of Souls” – a tribute to Hildegard of Bingen, performed by Vida Vojić

In this concert and reading, Vida will invoke and perform St. Hildegard of Bingen’s sacred music, poetry and fascinating life story, through text, song and playing the glass harp. 
 
Hildegard was a Benedictine abbess and polymath who, during the 12th century, was active as a music composer, theologian, painter, philosopher, poet, mystic, visionary, herbalist, and medical writer in Roman Germany. 

Vida Vojić is a music and performance artist, writer and ‘alchemical drummer’ from Gothenburg, Sweden.

Harvest Festival

Celebrate the earth’s Harvest with us.
Come along on the 31st August and buy a book, some preserves, plants and baked goods.

Then join us for worship on Sunday 1st September at 11.00 to give thanks and after the service we shall join together in a Harvest lunch.
